No one should lose a child but at least Malarie was very clear how much she loved her family and I'm sure she knew how they felt before she hit that wall and flew to heaven. |

| Comments: | I have known Malarie McLamb since the day she was born. I saw her grow up as a neighbor, my child's playmate, a student, and most of all a friend. On many occasions, I told my children, her peers, that Mal was one of my all time favorite children. To know Malarie was to love Malarie. I loved Malarie's trademark, mischievous half-smile and the twinkle in her eye. In neighborhood play, Mal was champion of the underdog. Nobody got picked-on when little Mal was on duty. I loved Malarie for being a loyal friend to my children. I loved Malarie for her quiet rebellion against convention. Malarie enjoyed traveling the road less taken and walking up the down staircase. Malarie did not try to be different, she just was. For her uniqueness, I loved Malarie. In recent years, when my adult children reported a "Malarie signting", I said "I miss Mal,she was one of my favorite kids". Now, I really miss her.
